In 2008, Lisa, Fabienne, Laura, and Steffi were just 14 and pregnant. They said, “We can do this.” And gave birth to Leyla, Valentin, Stella Luna, and Jason.
15 years later: their kids are now just as old as they were back then. Time to look back – and forward.
In TWENTY-EIGHT, the young mothers tell their stories: What it was like to take on responsibility at 14 suddenly, what shaped them, and how they – and their children – are doing today. For the first time, the children of the young mothers also talk about themselves and their present lives.
A film by Cornelia Gruenberg about 15 years of life, about courage, family, solidarity, and decisions that change everything.
Theatrical release: October 9th, 2025
